Yesterday, May 8, I had a successful outpatient lumpectomy surgery at Hershey Medical Center for an early stage breast cancer. Some lymph nodes were also routinely removed. Pathology results will come back in about a week. It was a long day at the hospital since surgery was not performed until mid-afternoon. I took one oxycodone when I got home and went to bed early. I was able to have a good night’s sleep with only moderate pain.
I was up this morning at 6:40 (late for this farm girl). After breakfast this morning, I was puttering around.
