In October, Doreen took a two week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, including Angkor Wat. She told Jean, “Some of the countryside and villages remind me of our boat trip on the Nile for graduation in 1961.”
Jean says she took Doreen, Pam Parr Marker and Judy Ash “up country” on the Ibis for their graduation. “We had a great time,” remembers Jean.
Doreen says she and her Schutz classmate Yasar Geyikdagi have kept in touch all these years through Christmas cards. Yasar lived in New York with his Turkish wife for many years, and retired to Turkey a few years ago.
