Well, I had my spinal cord stimulator installed yesterday. The procedure was a piece of cake. It will take some weeks for it to have an effect. two relatively short incisions, one over the spine(where the leads enter the epidural space) and one in the flank (a pocket for the battery pack). They are connected by a tunnel for the connecting extension. I cannot feel the one over the spine, or the tunnel, but the pocket feels terrible! Nurse gave me some of the “really good meds”. Now I don’t feel like screaming, only like whimpering. They say it will be bad for 3 days. I am sure I can survive that. It can stop snowing any time!  (lives in Rochester Minnesota)

Update – 4/17/18 –  I called Jeannie to get an update on the stimulator She said it is working a bit but the program has been tweaked twice and she will return again for further change. Jean Stultz
