44th Annual Schutz Reunion July 22, 2007

Each year, there is a Schutz reunion in New Wilmington on the first Sunday afternoon of the New Wilmington Missionary Conference. Why don't you make plans to join us for the next one on July 20, 2008!

On Saturday, July 21, Teddy Tedford and Ruth Nolin were on hand at the Stultz farm to assist Jean Stultz with lunch preparations. Sunday was a beautiful sunny cool day so no need to transport fans! Ed Pollock was there as we arrived at the church. We were thankful for his help in unloading the coolers of food and other materials needed for the Schutz gathering. Marilyn Watkins and her son Kevin were on hand to help us prepare the buffet table and Ed Pollock and Herb Garber were kind enough to help us load up when it was over. Teddy served as registrar and Ruth sold Schutz t-shirts and note cards and received membership dues. Everyone appreciated Gib McGill for taking the time to share slides and speak to us about his time in Iraq. We also appreciated the time Ronne Christy gave in helping Gib set up his laptop and arranging for the mike and equipment for his presentation. It was a great day. Ruth Nolan said, "I enjoyed all the friends I knew and the fellowship and especially Gib's talk and slides."
